Thanks for coming to the July SCM + see you next month

Hello, just a quick note to say thank you for coming to the July Stirchley Community Market, our inaugural market at The British Oak, and our 5th birthday party! We welcomed back our lovely Stirchley Community Market stallholders, and some newcomers to the market, the ladies from the Drop & Swap – their swap will be taking place again next month, so do bring along your unwanted clothes to swap! (no smells, bobbles or stains)

We asked Nicola (Mrs Mills Makes Cakes) to make us a rainbow cake for the occasion of our big birthday and she created the fluffiest lemon spongecake with seven brightly coloured layers and cream icing! mmmm! We counted it fed at least 50 people! The cake was topped with a magnificent lasercut perspex logo caketopper by Working Clasp! 3/5 of the committee held a ceremonial cutting of the cake just for fun too.

We really hope visitors and stallholders alike, all had a lovely time, and we hope to see you all again on next month where we have more special things planned. Join us on Tuesday 4th August, 4-8pm at The British Oak!

Here are some photos from our birthday bash and July market:
