A little bit about Stirchley Baths

We’re very exciting to be making a comeback for 2016, with our first market next week at Stirchley Baths! Here’s a little about the building:

The Grade II listed building built in 1910 has been closed to the public since 1988. The baths have been redeveloped into a 21st century community space at the heart of Stirchley, with a host of new facilities including a multipurpose community hall, meeting rooms, cinema space, café and training rooms.

Stirchley Baths is a place to bring people together for leisure, food, arts, heritage, film and wellbeing. The fascinating heritage of Stirchley Baths will be celebrated and interpreted through an exciting three year programme of community activity.

Local residents have a chance to get involved by learning new skills through the heritage volunteer programme and attending events, exhibitions, talks, tours and an educational programme happening at this historical Birmingham gem.

Stirchley Baths will be holding free tours throughout Tuesdays’ market. These can be booked on the day of the market – they will have a stall with a sign up sheet.

We look forward to seeing you on Tues 1st March, 4-8pm. Our list of stallholders on the day of the market is here!
