CALL FOR HELP!

We have two tasks that we need help with, that will really make a difference to the market. The committee is made up of me (Kerry), Kathy, Jordan and Katharine, with help from Rachel and Phil. We are all volunteers and manage quite a fair amount between us on the side of our day jobs and other commitments, but we could do with a little help – do you have half an hour to spare?

1.) On Tuesday the market is celebrating its 8th birthday – we’ve come a long way since 2010 – and we seem to be growing with each market! But there are still lots of people who live in the area who don’t know about us, and we’d like to deliver some flyers this weekend to reach them. Not everyone uses social media!

If you are free for half an hour this weekend please let us know via email stirchleycommunitymarket@gmail.com and state your preference for streets to deliver, and we’ll get in touch to let you know where you can pick up flyers from.

2.) On the day of the market from 2pm we set up the main hall and outdoor area at Stirchley Baths, and we pack away at 8pm. We’re looking for helpers on a monthly basis. Even if you can only do it as a one off – that’s a massive help! All the tables are on wheels and not up any stairs – so it’s much easier than when we used to set up at Stirchley United WMC back in the day!
